I can't beleive it, my husband and I just celebrated out 16th wedding anniversary.I say that I can't believe it because the time has went by so fast. Where did all the years go? We had planned on going out to dinner on Friday, but the weather has been so yucky and it was raining really hard Friday night so when Terry called and said he was on his way home I had an idea, I decided that it would be just as nice to stay home and rent a movie.I did not tell him of this on the phone, I decided I would wait and see what he thought of it when he got home. I had a little time and wrote him a note with my idea of dinner and a movie at home. When he got home he had a dozen white roses for me(how sweet) we exchanged our anniversary cards and I had put the note inside the card I could tell that he really liked that idea, I put the name of the movie that I had chosen as well, I could tell it wasn't his first choice ,but it was my idea, right? So I fixed our dinner and ordered the movie which I had decided on . We started watching the movie, but we ended up actually talking about the past and when the kids were small so we missed the first half of the movie. I really enjoyed talking to my husband. I know that doesn't seem like a big deal but it's a big deal to me because we don't do that very often, and I have decided we need to do that alot more.I have came up with some good ideas. My next idea is to write him a note that we are going to take a walk together and when your walking together you usually end up talking(I won't tell him that though)Who knows maybe we'll end up taking walks more often.:)
